The wiring harness connections aren't a big deal to replace, as long as your dealer or mechanic doesn't charge you an arm & a leg to "diagnose" the problem.

The contact owns a 2009 Pontiac G6. The contact stated that the front passenger's side headlight failed. The contact attempted to replace the headlight bulbs and noticed that the wire connections were burned. The connectors were replaced however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnosis and the contact was informed that the wiring would need to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 80,000. Updated 11/12/13 the consumer stated the drivers side low beam head light continued to go out, due to the head lights wires were over heating. Updated 11/19/13
