Light Harnesses Faulty, Corroded

CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2009 is starting to have the same problems as previous model years, including the headlights blowing out due to bad connectors.

The wiring harness connections aren't a big deal to replace, as long as your dealer or mechanic doesn't charge you an arm & a leg to "diagnose" the problem.

Yet another 20 mins I should not have to had wasted today repairing the same issue as whats been going on for the last 4 months. Remove the driver's side headlight assembly, push the low beam harness together and try to get the headlight working again. Pain in my a$$

I purchased this vehicle in October of 2011. Since that time, I have replaced at 'least' six bulbs in the headlamps. I contacted Pontiac, to no avail.

I just got my car out of the shop today; they said the harnesses were bad, corroded, and one needed to have a piece of cardboard shoved in to keep the bulb in its place.

Bulbs aren't cheap at $15.00 and up, and to replace every few weeks or month is aggravating. Not an easy task, either.

I will never buy another Pontiac; the company doesn't stand by their products.
