The contact owns a 2006 Pontiac Vibe. The contact was driving at 10 mph when the accelerator pedal became stuck in the open throttle position. The contact stated the failure would occur intermittently and as result, the contact was involved in two crashes. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. After the most recent crash, the vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. The dealer test drove the vehicle and was able to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer would not provide any assistance. The failure mileage was 86,000 and the current was unknown. Updated 12/29/10 updated 04/06/11
