CarComplaints.com Notes: Although it has a stellar record in terms of vehicle problems, initially the 4th generation (2003 - 2009) 4Runner didn't earn our top "Seal of Awesome" rating because it received poor crash test ratings for rear impacts. However it's proven to have one of the lowest driver death rates out of all vehicles (not just SUVs), so we've bumped it back up to our top award.

no video; it was a radiator replacement / preventive maintenance / OEM radiator never leaked!

New radiator at 12 years now with 220,000 miles on a V6 2005 4runner

starts and runs immediately on turning the key just like when it was new.

Tom 4runner is in Nassau Bahamas. There are no super highways here. truck seldom sees speeds above 45 mph. no rust

Keeping it until it has tranny or engine issues. buy another two-year-old one with 100,000 miles is AOK with these.
