I am sick of the key breaking all the time at the point where the screw goes through the plastic. Each time this costs about $80 plus the inconvenience. As this has happened approximately every 6 months since I bought the vehicle as an ex-demo I have pointed out to the dealership that this is a design flaw but they say they can't do anything about it and that I shouldn't have anything else on that key ring as it weights the key down when in the ignition - go figure, how many people want to have a separate key ring only for their car key and a separate one for the house and garage?. I say that's not good enough and Toyota should front up to this problem and replace the keys for free!
