The front control arms on 2015 Highlander are really not tough enough in common accidents. If you run into a curb or an accident, the control arm is easily striped off. This is a real safety issue. The front control arms are mounted into the frame in such a cheap way; On one end with a weak rubber bushing that can easily get stripped off, if twisted in an accident, and into a good bushing on the other end. This way of mounting the control arm to the frame is causing a real life safety issue. Moreover, the ball joint is mounted into the control arm through a thin metal that can easily get twisted and stripped when pushed backward by an accident. Toyota should really consider this real life threading issue.
