We just bought this car & love it except for the issue with the BSM working intermittently. We noticed this problem on the drive home the day we bought it. This is a real safety issue because if you can't see the car your passing in your blind spot to know when you are clear to change lanes. You can't rely on a safety system that only works intermittently. That is one of the primary reasons we bought the car is due to Toyota's safety systems. The car is currently in the shop. Waiting to see what they will do. We have plenty of videos showing this system working and not working. I had a Ford Explorer that had the BSM & it worked 100% all the time.
