I had to replace 3 rear wheel bearings and hubs on my 2003 Matrix
at 95000 miles driver side and passenger side at 120000 miles and then replace the drivers side again with about 35000 miles on it.
The cost of each replacement was about $600. Cdn or apprx. 500 US.
The dealer thought is was normal wear. It wrote to Toyota Canada
and it took them 8 months to reply stating there were 0 problems with their bearings and hubs.
