My Toyota Matrix loses the right front hubcap approximately every 6 to 9 months, costing about $46 to replace it each time. This is so annoying. The car runs fine otherwise. Why does this keep happening? The hub cap falls off just driving down the highway or over country roads. What can be done to stop this from happening? Is it the tires, or the car alignment or something? I have the tires rotated every 10k miles, so I don't think the problem is the tire, but there's definitely a problem with the hub cap that's in that right front location.
Any suggestions for fixing this problem once and for all?
