It sucks- this is a perfectly good little truck that I have had for fifteen years. The engine, tires, everything is fine, except the issue with the frame. The problem is that it's tremendously hard to find a frame section because everyone wants these trucks, and those that have been junked are also pretty damned rusty. I'm going to try going to Toyota to see what they say, but the assistance program from Toyota only covers back to 95. I'm not destitute- I'm not walking to work, but it would really hurt to have to junk this otherwise great little truck!
