The problem with the 2001 model is that Toyota has put their faith in the tire manufacturer that produced those other tires back in the 90's that killed all those motorists. Remember those guys? Firestone/Bridgestone!
Well sure enough those tires fall apart and I mean chunks come off the tire exposing the belt.
Toyota replaced first set. Along comes 46K and Toyota would not replace. I purchased "normal" times. Mileage went down of course.
