I had no idea that the issue I have been having is actually an issue that Toyota is aware of. I have been very lucky that I have not been in an accident because my brakes skip. This especially occurs when I go over a pothole or railroad tracks, even in rain. It can be quite scary.
The loss of braking usually occurs when going over rough spots (train tracks, rough road), but not always. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't replicate. It happens only once in a while.
