Vsc, traction control and check engine lights came on. Vehicle running rough and steering tight while driving on street. Was able to get vehicle back to residence. Feels unsafe to drive. Will be contacting Toyota dealer for repair.

The master pressure sensor is failing and from what I am reading this has been a common complaint in the early 2000's Toyota but no one has done nothing about it besides charge an awful amount to fix. My vehicle when in 4WD brakes will lock up and I still slide no matter what gear or how slow I am going. I have almost slid into countless cars.

My vsc trac, trac off and check engine lights all came on yesterday. I was driving so I'm not sure if they all came on at the same time or not. The brake does not over ride cruise control on highway. So it will continue gas up even you use brake under cruise control mode. This is pretty disappointing since this problem has been seen all the way back to the first generation

The secondary injection system has failed. Toyota is aware of this defect and has extended the warranty for this issue on 2008-2010 Sequoia. The 2007 has the same engine and same defective parts but Toyota will not cover the replacement. Hey should cover all vehicles with the same engine types because they are all going to have the same issue! this repair can cost the consumer up to $3600. The vehicle makes a loud sound upon starting and the trac and ABS light and check engine light appears. My vehicle is at the dealer but in my opinion Toyota should repair these vehicle free of charge especially if this is a known issue.

Vsc activates frequently on low speed, 90 deg turns, under completely dry driving conditions, causing a brief (several seconds) loss of power to wheels. Seems to primarily occur on right turns. This occurs every time on certain turns, which leads me to believe that it may have something to do with vehicle orientation and/or intersection geometry.

My vehicle is a Toyota Sequoia 2004 4 wheel drive. Since about 2 years, the vsc and brake lights stay on off and on. I took this to the local dealer. He said this is an inherent problem in the Sequoia vehicles stretching from 2001 to 2007. He wanted to change a computer costing about $1200. In doing research on line, I noted that this is a constant problem in these vehicles. In one case, the brakes stopped working. 1. www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/1gen-Sequoia/228997-vsc-off-vsc-trac-brake-problem/ 2. wiki.answers.com/Q/toyota_sequoia_trac_light_vsc_light_on?#slide=1 3. www.toyotanation.com/forum/86-Sequoia-forum/177871-vsc-trac-pbrake-light-stay.html hope you can help with this persistent problem in multiple vehicles before someone has a major accident/death.

While the vehicle was traveling at about 40 mph it suddenly loses engine power and the vehicle becomes hard to steer. Both the vsc off and trac off lights came on. I had to pull to the side and the car died completely. I turned off the car but could not turn it on immediately. I waited for about 5 minutes and tried again and it started up fine, but after I drove for less than half mile the same issue happened again. It happened a total of 6 times within a couple of miles. Since then it's been happening every few days. Took it to my mechanic but they could not pull a code. Searching online it seems this is a common problem that happened to many 1st generation Sequoias.

When driving conditions are dry, warm weather, I make a turn from a complete stop and the vehicle stability control (skid control) light starts blinking and acceleration is diminished significantly. The vehicle bogs down and I can not accelerate and almost get hit from the oncoming traffic. I have taking it to the dealer several times and for some reason, they cannot replicate it. My vehicle has 65000 miles on it now and it is happening more frequently. Unfortunately, the warranty has expired. But, this is a serious flaw in the design of the stability system. It happens on a daily basis. Please help in forcing a recall.

This is very unsafe!! the vsc trac, vsc off, and brake light come on this truck. When these lights come on my car goes into a crazy slamming mode. It shakes the whole car and my car will not stop! I have babies and this is not safe for anyone on the road! the weird part is that as soon as you turn the car off then on everything seems fine and it works for a little bit then bam you are trying to stop and the car wont and start shaking out of control! please help! I have looked online and there are tons of people with the same problem. With Toyota's history they need to take care of it. We all need your help do the right thing and recall!!

I own a 2007 Sequoia and a few months ago on random occasions while taking a right turn my vsc (vehicle stability control) light would turn on and the gas pedal would no longer supply gas to the engine. This is very dangerous especially if I am turning in to on-coming traffic with my entire family in the car. The cars coming up behind me often must slow down quickly to avoid rear ending me. My mechanic (not from a Toyota dealer) informed me that he had several customers who had come in with the same complaint. I contacted Toyota only for them to tell me that since it wasn't a recall there was nothing they would do. I searched the internet and have found a large number of folks with the same situation. Please do something about this before something very bad happens. Thank you.

Seems there is a common problem when searched on Toyota Sequoias and Tundra from 02 to 07 vsc trac off and ECU replacement which is to do with skid control and can cause death and injury if it fails. Apparently I am finding out that thousands have registered with this site and no Toyota recall has been issued and the company doesn't want to recall because it is a 2300, repair. The computer chip is the problem and it goes bad that soon? wow Toyota is just turning the us government and people around and screwing them silly and laughing all the way to the bank. Please do something! it is a family car that is going to make the american families that buy it homeless with that kind of repair.
