Poor design on the door latches on this automobile. We've had to replace multiple handles on both from and side (sliding doors) and will probably need to replace more if I keep the vehicle for a few more years. Yes, it is a 10 year old car, and I've no idea if those are the originals or if the previous owner had to do the same maintenance but I find it pretty unusual that the door latch/handle system should systematically fail on multiple doors and furthermore it's one of those parts that even after 10 or 15 or 20 years shouldn't really need replacing under normal use conditions. It's definitely a poor design.
