I have had two separate body shops tell me that this is an obvious factory defect in the sheet metal and the toyota warranty representative is only willing to pay for the parts for this issue. Leaving me with a cost of $1300.00 out of my pocket. This issue is definately a safety issue. The rear door was not closing completely and my children were at risk. They won't take care of this obvious defect in the sheet metal caused by the screws holding the rear door jam in place. If you have a Toyota Sienna 2005 LE check the screws holding on the door jam at the rear part of the door on the driver's side slider.
