Sienna Limited 3.5L V6

This Toyota Certified Pre Owned Sienna with only 41k, has a piston slap issue. Took into local dealer, and they confirmed this problem. Told to wait till it gets worse, since the warranty is very long. Cold starts equal a sound very close to a Diesel engine. This is another issue that has plagued this van since I purchased it only a few months ago. So so so sick of this van, and its many many issues. The "GOLD standard" of cars, and being a Certified Pre Owned Toyota, I should never have such problems out of this car, and with only 41k. This is our first Toyota, and MY LAST.

Sienna XLE V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

I feel engine rattles badly - soon after delivery. Toyota dealers say noise is "normal"! Certified letters of complaint to Toyota I feel ignored.

Update from Jan 30, 2013: The Sienna has about 80,000 on it now. Rattle gets louder and louder. I've taken it in to the dealer several times. They've said all is well. When it does break, I'll sure be looking for a lawyer, and, others having the same problem :(
