During normal multi-point inspection, lower ball joints on both sides are reported as cracked and need to be replaced. I would imagine this might be somewhat normal given the heavy weight and how I have over $130k, decided to postpone fixing until I replaced tires. Read online that it could cause bad tire wearing if not addressed. Ultimately, I decided to retire/trade-in the van due to the high cost of replacing items like water pumps, etc. and the infamous engine oil cooler pipe failure that I've read about and would have to do for piece of mind. Never had an issue with van, never left my stranded, runs like a top but would rather put money towards new car than pay the premium rates for repairs in the next 2-3 years - mainly b/c engine bay so difficult to work in - i.e. water pump replace (normal wear on higher mileage cars) would be $1300+.
