Toyota sent a recall for sliding side doors, which did open while driving. The selling dealer worked on it 5 times and never fixed the problem. In fact the salesman implied I may be the problem.
Taking it to another dealer they found not only the recall had not been done properly but that the hinge bracket was broken on the passenger side door. (least used door)
It took them 2 weeks to get the parts and the entire repair including AC took less than 6 hours.
Everything works fine now.
I will be trading in this vehicle next year or so for a non Toyota vehicle.
There are other car makers offering better prices and great warranties with road side assistance.
