I'm unable to adjust my seat so I'm sitting right under the steering wheel. I was told the whole thing would have to be replaced and that would be costly.

2014/03/14 704-399-0900 Carolina Mobility Sales, LLC 4025 Queen City Dr. Charlotte, NC 28208 704-399-0900

I purchased the vehicle and preformed an inspection prior to completing the sale. I found that the Factory Drivers Seat had a problem. One of the front seat motors was very weak and would not push the seat up if someone was seating on it. The Sales Person: Mr. Jeff Stephens & the Service Manager: Kevin both tried the seat and verified that the problem exists. They checked all of the connections and assured me that this was a Toyota issue and that Toyota would fix this if I would take the vehicle to them. After completing the purchase, I drove straight over to my Toyota Service Center:

Town & Country Toyota 9101 South Boulevard Charlotte, NC 28273 (800) 577-8316

They had their service tech look at my vehicle and he determined that the front seat motor has to be replaced. He ordered the part and said that they would call me when it was in.

Several weeks later, the part came in and they took my vehicle into service and kept it for two days. Then they brought my vehicle to my house and said that they were not going to fix it because the problem was with The Braun Corporation Conversion and I should take it to them.

The next day I scheduled a service call with Kevin – Service Manager with Carolina Mobility. When they received the vehicle, they took the drivers seat out of vehicle and removed any of their components from it. This was so that they could test the factory seat independent of anything connected to the Braun Corporation. They sat the factory seat on the garage floor and ran a wire from this Front Seat Motor to a Battery setting beside the seat. Thee Service Manager - Kevin set in this seat and tested the operation of the seat motors. The front seat motor still would not operate unless the seat was unoccupied. This confirmed to them that this problem was not a Braun problem at all, this was a Toyota problem. After they told me of their findings, I picked up the vehicle and drove straight to Town & Country Toyota and talked to the service manager about this. He insisted that this was not their problem but he would contact the regional service rep for Toyota and I should hear back from him within 24 hours.

Several weeks later I called back to Town & Country and they said for me to just wait. They would not do anything until the regional service manager gets involved.

I contacted Carolina Mobility several times over the last few months begging them to help me but they kept putting me on hold. After many calls, I finally talked with Kevin - Service Manager & he said that he had tried to get Braun to help with this issue but they could not or would not help because they had proven that this was a Toyota problem and Toyota had to fix their problems.

I talked to Kevin – Service. He said that he had called Toyota Care Customer Service and filed a complaint about this in an effort to help me get the problem fixed. He then recalled the Braun Corp and again asked if they could assist in fixing this problem but they said that the problem was not theirs and Toyota must fix their problem. Toyota will not fix the problem because they also say that it is not theirs to fix. Kevin tried to call Toyota again about the complaint that he opened about this issue but they would not talk to him but told him that the regional Rep would call me within 24 hrs.
