my 2007 tacoma is a great truck except the paint sucks bad my truck looks 10 years old. I had a 98 tacoma I drove 10 years and it was black .It looked better than my 07 after 4.years I am very unhappy about this $.30,000 dollars on a truck the paint should be better.
Hi. In the spring of this year I was washing my truck and noticed a couple of rust spots on the roof. One dead center in the middle (4 door cab) and two six inches above the glass.
Brought it in to the local dealer and was told by the service manager (without him or anyone else looking at it) that they were stone chips and therefore not covered under warranty. Brought it to another dealer who put a claim into Toyota. Toyota relied solely on the dealers opinion and denied warranty.
Have brought the truck for two estimates on repair. Both $1000.00
I had to go through a big ordeal to get my truck fixed by Toyota. They ended up sending it to a auto body shop to get fixed. But not until I put up a fight about it. They never fix anything without making a fuss.
