Tacoma DBL CAB V6

There has been an annoying noise from the front of the vehicle ever since I've had it (bought used). It sound (on the left side of the dash) like someone blowing into a soda pop bottle. On the right side of the dash, it has a deeper sound (like someone blowing into a large jug). For those who know what I'm talking about, it's the noise of something "sucking air"!!!! The first time it did it to me, I thought a window was not closed tight, but that wasn't the problem. You may contact me at : adele9840@gmail.com

Update from Sep 14, 2015: Dealership replaced the windshield, but didn't stop the wind noise. Found the 2 little trim pieces at bottom of each side of windshield had been sprung & were very loose. After these 2 pieces were replaced, there has been no noise. Wouldn't trade my little Tacoma for all the rucks in the world!!!!

Tacoma TRD Offroad 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,500 miles

When driving at Highway Speed (70-75MPH) and there is a cross wind and the windows are up, the rubber seal on whatever side the wind is coming from will randomly let out a harsh short whistle.

Took it to the Dealership, they stated they could not see anything wrong and Repair Tech noted "Unable to reproduce problem" and my complaint was dismissed.
