The contact owns a 2010 Volkswagen Cc. The contact stated that the recall notice for NHTSA campaign number: 17V509000 (fuel system, gasoline) was received in June of 2016. After contacting the dealer (kuhn Volkswagen in tampa, fl), the contact was informed that the parts needed to repair the recall were not available. The contact experienced the failure listed in the recall, which caused the battery to be replaced on two separate occasions by an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 85,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
