We don't have a lot of complaints on file for the Volkswagen Polo (although feel free to add yours here) -- it's either not very popular ... or it's very, very good.
The 2000 Volkswagen Polo has the most complaints, & the most-reported problem is with the 2004 Polo for broken ignition.

remotes not working properly -- 2003 Polo:
On the 13500km service, the garage said that I needed two new remotes at cost of R2500. I declined and next day bought two batteries and installed them, cost R18!! Both remotes now work. Is it greed or stupidity? Read more »

engine shuts off -- 2000 Polo:
When you use brake and it gets slower, the engine stops. I was told that VW is the best! In Bursa its service agency cost more money and they are not friendly.
