Takata recall I received a recall notice from vwoa in April, 2016 regarding my driver's side air bag. It is now December, 2016 and my dealer still has no idea when it might be replaced. Additionally, when I tried to trade it in on a 2016 model, I was told that my old Cc was now worth half of what I had paid for it only one year ago due to the dangerous air bags. Also I was warned of the possibility of shrapnel injury should I continue driving the car. Your help in obtaining a prompt remedy would be appreciated.

This is a very serious safety concern and the recall has been nearly one year without any updates or a solution to this safety hazard. This is unacceptable.

Takata recall. There is a takata airbag recall and there is no remedy yet. I live in Alabama which has a hot, humid climate. I would like the airbag to be taken out even if no replacement is available at this time because the airbag may explode causing injury to me.

Takata recall : soon after I purchased my used 2012 VW Cc, the problems started : airbag light turned on, at the same time horn became inoperative and steering wheel controls became disabled. NHTSA recall # 16V078, NHTSA campaign number: 16V078000, manufacture's recall # 69M9, recall date 02.09.2016. Recall status: Recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available ! the second recall is : tires - pressure monitoring and regulating systems ( tpm ). flate tire image on and off every day a lot of times per day, despite the tire pressure is ok. Defective airbag ( inflator ) along with defective tpm are both major safety issues and in need to fix it asap free of charge. Volkswagen of kearny mesa san diego offered to fix the airbag at high price ! driving with those problems is dangerous ! I did not write directly to Volkswagen of America, but I am going to do it ! thank you

Takata recall, volkswagon has been delaying a fix for my Cc sport 2012. I was notified in February 2016 that my volkswagon ccsport 2012 has a safety recall of my airbags. The dealer as advised me they won't take my car back in trade for another vehicle do to the open recall. Further advised me that because volkswagon currently has no fix in the near future. My automobile with 37,000 miles in excellent conditon and maintained/serviced every 3000 miles. And I was advised that the value or treade in if they were to take car back. The car would have to be sold at auction for penny's on the dollar. This is a crime and out ragious that a dealer who has sold me two volkswagon over the span of 10years is now sending me to car max as my only option to trade my car or sale it. I'm out raged and need some advise or guidance as to how I move forward with volkswagon to settle this safety recall which has been on file almost a year. And volkswagon has no information or any idea as to when or how they will fix my automobile

Takata recall... when I bring my car in there is no fix to this problem but they say they can put ne in another car but my value is not enough to zero out the bakance on my loan... why must I pay for a car that is supposed to be scrapped and a manufactured defect? my loan needs to be zeroed out and I should be allowed to start over. I have spent extra money on that car new tures & battery not even a year old. The takata corporation needs to be liable for the remaining debt not me.... my note will go from 420 owning to 655 leased to get out that car and I'm forced to purchase another Volkswagen.... not fair at all....
