Cabrio GTI 2000
Bought car with no CD'S in Changer and Head unit saying no CD Changer fitted, told by seller needed CD'S in magazine to work!!
More fool me. I suspected a problem but when I loaded CD'S it worked!!
Then it didn't, then it did. Its now hit and miss and after checking I need a new Cd Changer!!
Guess the previous owner knew?
It works perfect when it finds the magazine and mostly it does not.
Worried if I replace it the fault will be in head unit.
Decided to replace with after market Head unit Instead. (Waste of a 6 CD System)
More annoyed with previous owner than car.
