Touch screen / infotainment sometimes does not work in cold weather -5 to 10 C. Sometimes resets a bunch of times, sometimes black and unresponsive, sometimes “component protection” error… all rendering it unusable. In this car, this also means I cannot adjust the climate controls and heated seats or audio. It’s shocking to have no climate control, but at least VW gave me dedicated buttons for defrosting. Dealer says it should get fixed on a software update, but I think it’s a hardware issue. Very hard to repeat. But at least the car is fun to drive!
