I have had my Jetta now for three years. I have since then replaced the starter three times, and at the third time, put a heat shield around on it. Since then it hasn't given me problems starting when the car isn't hot.
Since last summer, the car has had problems when it is hot. It only occurs if I drive my car for so long, for example 30 minutes top. Then if I'm only at my destination for less than 10 minutes or so, come back and try to leave the parking lot... the car refuses to start.
I then usually have to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get the car starting again. I know it isn't the starter, because the car starts just fine. I would appreciate any answer I get.
