Jetta Wolfburg 2.5L

My mechanic stated that he has had several Jetta's to come to him for the same problem (the interior roof upholstery dropping). I will not recommend the Jetta's to anyone else. This should not be happening.

The headliner in my 2007 VW Jetta is falling down. When I called the dealership where I bought the car, I was told that I was out of warranty and they VW would not fix it. After owning 3 other VW's I will NEVER buy another VW again. I contact VW of A and was told the same thing. Out of warranty and they will not cover. I have looked online and this is a manufacturing problem using either cheap materials or cheap glue. I don't have the money right now to replace the liner so it looks like crap. Also to exterior b panels are starting to peel.

Jetta Wolfsburg 3.2L

Our first and last VW with less than 80,000 miles and the headliner is falling down from the ceiling. It's really annoying flapping when we rolling sunroof back and windows down. It is coming apart around the rear light and from the sides of windows in the back. Never ever had a car with this problem and I will never ever buy another VW !!!!!!!!

Thanks for not standing behind your products VW !!!

Jetta Wolfsburg Edition

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

This was annoying because the roof lining just started peeling off, and blocking the rear view! It's even more disturbing to know that it's not a one-off!

I wouldn't recommend a VW to anyone. We're the first and only owner of this car and we've been having regular trips to the mechanic and body shop. We already paid off this car but we still seem to be paying a car note monthly due to fixes.

Jetta 2.5L

  • Manual transmission
  • 120,000 miles

I was really disappointed with the purchasing process at Esserman VW in Doral, Miami, Florida. I was very mislead on purpose. The vehicle drove nice but it was bad quality on the interior design. I am extremely disappointed with the car. I enjoy driving a manual car but having bought myself my first new vehicle and getting a car that did not stay looking nice for long was very upsetting. I will never buy another VW again.

This is just the beginning, not the worst problem, it leaks so much oil that many mechanics do not care to nor want to work on VWs period. I have friends who are mechanics who laugh at me when I ask them to look at my car. The ones who will work on them complain and want to charge me a significant amount of money to fix the problems. I have been told to just get rid of my car because it is not worth to fix it. Taking it to the dealer to do any amount of work on the car cost way too much money. I will never buy a VW of any kind do to my experience with this particular car. I expected so much better from German engineering. Once I pay it off I hope to burn it so none will ever be cursed with any parts from it. If I can legally figure out how to get this done I will be happy to do it.
