The contact owns a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta. The contact stated that the anti-lock brake system, electronic stability control, and parking brake indicators were illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V913000 (service brakes, hydraulic, electronic stability control). The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. Sheehy Volkswagen of springfield (6601 backlick rd, springfield, va 22150, (703) 544-2973) diagnosed that the anti-lock brake system needed to be replaced due to a lack of connection. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and did not assist. The failure mileage was unknown. Parts distribution disconnect.
