CarComplaints.com Notes: Digging through the long list of NHTSA complaints about a sudden loss of engine power and the high pressure fuel pump failing, it's never good to come across the "my car (with a cold engine) set itself on fire in the middle of the night" complaint.

Heater core clogging is a common problem with this year apparently. Not getting it fixed will cause engine problems down the line as coolant isn't able to adequately travel through the system. Meineke quoted me at $1900 and I told them to piss off. Problems with having a faulty heater core involve having no heat and your windows fogging up when the weather starts to get colder or while raining making it dangerous to drive as you can't see through the windshield. Fogs up on the inside of the windshield as well, so the wipers don't do much for you.
