So I purchase my Volkswagen 2011 Jetta on December 26,2014 at the Volkswagen Darcars dealership in Silver spring. After 3 months of purchase my valve started to leak, I brought it back to Darcars and they supposedly fix it. Now on July 11,2016 the check engine light came on, Horn not working, alarm doesn't even work, so I decided to do an oil change on the car thinking that the check engine light would go off, but it didn't. I had a diagnostic test done on it for $150.00. When got the test done I had about 4 different code that came up. p2400, p240p p447. I only have the vehicle now for about 1 1/2 and is should not have an issue with the car I need some help. Furious and highly upset.

EPC light came with MIL light, had diagnostic run, Ignition coil failure and multiple cylinder misfires. Makes it impossible to drive as it happens at any given point and time.

The mechanic says this is a common problem with WV that the MAP sensor fails and the valve cover needs replacement. There are so many testimonials online referring to this problem I wanted to add my name to the list.

No indication that it would fail. Just popped on..so what do I do to prevent it in the future or from happening again?

First major repair so not bad..just inconvient timing.

This car is fun to drive, but I have had recalls on various small things.

The electrical doesn't always work- bluetooth, ipod, nav

The engine light has come on twice in the past 2 mos- claim it's the fuel pump- they can't seem to fix it properly

Car 'surges' at times in park like I'm stepping on the gas pedal
