Heated seats were in the "convenience pkg" with this car. Rarely used (maybe once or twice a year). Drivers side is not working. Service says 900 or so to repair because they have to replace the heating element and padding. How can this be? Rarely used, car clean with no accidents, spills, etc. It just stops heating?
after 4-5 VWs in my driving life, am about to give up on them
