Besides the many other problems my 2004 Volkswagen Passat has... the left front axle had to be replaced, which cost about $750 (maybe more, can't remember since i've put so much money into this car to fix it). Was having problems turning the steering wheel & car was making an awful noise, finally took it in to auto repair shop, not the dealership because they would've charged more!
