The contact owns a 2015 Volkswagen Passat. The contact stated that while driving approximately 15 MPH the vehicle suddenly shut off and could not be immediately restarted. After several attempts the vehicle eventually was restarted and driven to the home. later vehicle would no longer start. The contact indicated that prior to the failure the vehicle EPC warning light would remained illuminated but the local dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failures but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 3,500.
