Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Rabbit 5-cyl

I own a 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit. About 4 months after I got it, it started stalling. Only when my car is idling. It also sputters and is not running smoothly. Recently I started hearing a knocking noise under my hood. I've taken it into the dealership over and over and they send me home, saying they cant replicate the problem. The knocking happens on a regular basis, the stalling randomly happens, sometime I can go weeks without my car stalling, other times its only a few days. They've done nothing to fix this problem, just send me on my way. I need answers, and this problem to be fixed.
