I started a case with VW of America. Initial person basically told me it's out of warranty and it's at my cost, it went to a supervisor, then a regional manager. After a month the flew in a certified tech to diagnose the problem. The diagnosis was the same motor failed. VW was willing to fix it with a 30% discount at still 5500.00 and an estimate of 5 months to fix it. I negotiated with the General manager at the dealership where I originally punched the car to give me the full trade value and deduct the cost to repair the car and payoff my loan. I walked away after paying for this car for three years with nothing.
