I just learned that the entire heating module needs to be replaced. The cost of the part is $995, plus the reprogramming and labor. I have no defrost, no heat, no air, it is all just dead. This is a big problem on the East Coast of US in the winter. Car really unsafe because of bad weather and need for defrost. Not sure if going to repair or get a new car.
