(First owner) The volvo dealership replaced the brake fluid (scheduled maintenance) on my 2008 Volvo XC70 and when I picked up my vehicle following the subsequent scheduled maintenance. I was informed the power cylinder master cylinder was leaking and would require replacement. (Approximately $650.) Is it possible the mechanic damaged the power cylinder master cylinder; albeit causing the leak while replacing the brake fluid? I'm not suggesting any deliberate damage; however having to replace a power cylinder master cylinder system in an expensive vehicle is premature when you consider the current mileage (Under 50,000 miles)

Is there any way of determining if it was previously damaged or is this an issue with the 2008 Volvo XC70?
