I have a $100 dollar scanner I got from Amazon and I found that it is a problem with the Bluetooth shorting inside the head unit of the radio. It usually goes away for awhile if I reset it with the scanner or restart the car. The radio basically restarts itself several times after starting the car and half the time bluetooth works, half the time it doesn't.
