The check engine light started lighting up months ago periodically now it's on permanently. Have taken it to two different repairers who ran diagnostics on it and both said that no fault was showing up. I have been researching it myself and the light plus the fact that at various times the car also jerks or misfires anything from once to ten or more times. I have concluded it is probably the catalytic converter.
Considering the odometer reading was 63,000 Ks when this began I think it's pretty piss poor. Major repairs like this shouldn't happen until much later in the vehicles life.
