- 2007 Chevrolet HHR: rusted fuel line (10 complaints) Brought my 2007 HHR LS to my local Chevy dealer for service and was told there is a strong fuel smell under the vehicle related to the fuel lines. Estimated costs for me are too high. read more »
- 2019 Ford Explorer: keyless key pad has detached from vehicle (1 complaints) Ford Motor Company has issued a recall on the Explorer up to year 2017 for this problem. They need to extend the recall to cover all Ford Explorers. Ford discontinued the keypad on their 2025 Explorer, so they must know about this. read more »
- 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan: emergency brakes when reversing (1 complaints) My Tiguan has been emergency braking when reversing even when there's nothing behind. It has now done it at least 10 times in the last month. The braking is extremely aggressive and completely unpredictable. I’ve got dashcam footage showing it happening with no obstruction behind the vehicle. A passenger was injured during one incident, and even the VW dealership experienced it themselves while reversing the car into the garage. - 2022 Lincoln Nautilus: check strap mount plate cracking out (1 complaints) The driver's door and front passenger door (to a lesser extent so far) have suffered structural damage to the area surrounding the check strap mounting plate. There has been no damage to this door. It has not been in an accident. It has not suffered from being flung open from a gust of wind or anything else. The hinges are not bent. The door is not bent. - 2009 Audi A5: oil leak/s (1 complaints) This car has actually been pretty good to me over the last 10+ years. I consider my driving habits to be normal and law abiding. About 3-4 years ago, I've noticed engine heat in the car down by my legs and feet, so I took the car into a mechanic, and he found the engine was leaking antifreeze from the bottom part of the motor. - 2006 Dodge Stratus: thrust bearing wear (2 complaints) The drivetrain had to be replaced because the steering became difficult to drive. I had to have an alignment of the wheels/tires. It was very costly and unsafe to drive. read more »

- 2025 Toyota Tundra: high pitch squeal noise (1 complaints) I purchased my Tundra in August 2025. Shortly after this vehicle started making horrible squealing noise from the left front brakes when they were applied. Took to dealership, Natchez Toyota, in November 2025 about brake problems. They said they will order replacement brake pads. I have yet to receive them as of 4/30/26. - 2019 GMC Sierra 1500: dfm lifter failure (1 complaints) Hadn't had any engine issues with the truck since I bought it new in 2019. I drove it like an old man (im 41 now) and always changed the oil before it the oil life monitor reached 5% and always with Mobil 1, 0W-20 just like the book suggested. - 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan: excesive oil consumption (4 complaints) I was told by the service Advisor at Flow Volkswagen in Durham NC. On August 22 2024 that my 2022 VW Tiguan was normal to burn oil. I have continued to have my oil changed per recommended service. I have to carry a QT of motor oil in my vehicle because the low oil indicator comes on approximately every 1500 miles. My Manufacture warranty has since expired, I did purchase an extended warranty when we purchased the VW In 2022. - 2017 Ford Escape: coolant leaking into engine (10 complaints) The 1.5 L EcoBoost engine on my 2017 Ford Escape recently failed due to a well-known manufacturing defect by Ford that allows coolant intrusion into the engine causing total engine failure. The current mileage is low at 64883 . I talked to the local Ford dealer service department and was told there was no current programs available to help with this costly repair. - 2019 Subaru Forester: cruise control unexpected acceleration (1 complaints) While on cruise, on several occasions, the vehicle would start accelerating without any input on my part.
