- 2025 Toyota 4Runner: too dim not bright enough (1 complaints) The lights are so dim, on a regular night we need to turn the high beams on, and even then it does not do much. They got a poor rating by the highway safety institute and only upgraded the ones built after February 2026. I bought mines on October 2025. read more »

- 2016 Subaru Forester: transmission failure (5 complaints) 20-AUG-2026: I own a 2016 Forester 2.5i with a failing transmission at 208,600 KMs (not miles). Before anyone accuses me of neglect, I kept up to date with ALL service schedules: • Oil changes every 8,000 KMs. • CVT and differential fluids drained and filled every 100,000 KMs (as per Subaru Canada service schedule). All the servicing was performed at a Subaru dealership here in Canada. - 2026 Subaru Crosstrek: lka and collision mitigation braking intermittent failure (1 complaints) LKA works intermittently. It is set to beep and actively prevent lane departure. It rarely does both at once and more often neither. When it crosses a lane it does not prevent this and sometimes beeps but most of the time it does nothing. Collision mitigation will sometimes work and sometimes not. It failed to see a car lock up it's brakes 75 feet in front of me at approximately 40 mph and I had to lock up my brakes. - 2024 Honda Ridgeline: auto stop/start (1 complaints) Auto stop/start 'feature' is starting to not start the vehicle. - 2021 Ford F-150: fuel injectors failed on 2 cylinders (1 complaints) Truck had 154 misfires on cyl 4 and 2 misfires of cyl 2. Or dealer tried to change only one set of port and direct injectors. They tried to return the truck. I refused to take it because I knew the inspector was coming. They assured me the truck was fine but then when the insurance came, there was still a misfire so they had to fix the other cylinder as well. Try to double dip on the diagnostics. - 2013 Hyundai Elantra: ticking in engine (44 complaints) I've heard about the Theta Class engine failure common to Hyundai and Kia. In my case, my 1.8 L Nu Class engine has developed piston slap within 130,000 total miles, 24k of me as second owner. I can't confirm that the problem causing piston slap in the other Theta Class engines of the related recalls is the same, i.e. poor lubrication to the connecting rods, but my mechanic assured me that, at a minimum, the piston rings are blown. - 2013 Hyundai Elantra: clock spring failure (1 complaints) The check airbag light for the car came on after 122,000 miles or so and would intermittently disappear when driving straightaways, but recur after normal turning. - 2013 Hyundai Elantra: side mirror indicator failed (1 complaints) The passenger side mirror turn blinker failed, rendering the old light ineffective. I attempted to replace both indicator lights with compatible LEDs, and the driver's side works fine, but the passenger's side remains ineffective. There are no visibly damaged components to the electrical leads or wires, either at the mirror or at the pigtail cluster under the hood, and none of the car's fuses are out. - 2013 Hyundai Elantra: signal lights burning out (3 complaints) My passenger's turn signal stopped working, creating a strange pattern of a short-pulse only when I drove with the headlights on, or a steady dash light and no blinker when I drove with the headlights off. - 2016 Toyota RAV4: paint just comes off in clumps (1 complaints) Purchased this white 2016 Toyota Rav 4 from Fred Beans Volkswagen in Devon,PA. It was used and had a blemish.
