- 2015 Volvo S60: excessive oil consumption (5 complaints) I just found out recently that there was an issue with this model. Sadly I purchased my Volvo used. However, after reading the complaints of other Volvo owners, my model is in the same boat. Excessive oil consumption after about 1000 miles a quart needed to be added. On my way home from work one afternoon, I got the check engine light and reduced power notification. I had the vehicle towed over to Volvo of Marietta for a diagnostic only to be told there was no compression in the third cylinder and the engine ... read more »

Its not clear coat peeling, it is the complete paint all the way down to the E-coat (Primer). Took it to the Honda dealer and was told to take it to a specific body shop that does their work for an estimate. the estimate was $3058.98, which then Honda declined saying the vehicle was out of warranty. Honda wont fix it or even meet me half way on the repair. I know now ... read more »
- 2018 Nissan Altima: transmission shutters and shakes (2 complaints) I purchased a power train wraparound platinum warranty that expires 84 months 100,000 miles. I was told it doesn’t cover my transmission. I went back to the dealer to speak with the finance manager but was unsuccessful. I was told by a salesman that, that was the best warranty and don’t know why it’s not covered. Nobody could tell me anything but it’s another paper and document that should be with the form I had and they will have to pull a box that has my ... read more »
- 2022 Honda Accord: paint flecked off (1 complaints) Paint flecked off two spots on trunk when car was 1 month (1,000 miles) old. Tried to get Honda to cover repair under the 3-year, 36,000-mile bumper to bumper warranty, but the dealer refers me to Honda of America and Honda of America refers me to the dealer -- the classic runaround. I'm concerned that these two spots will be the first of many. Honda does not have a good track record with ... read more »

- 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan: rust bubbles on hood (2 complaints) My brother in law, who knows about auto body work, said this is a defect on how the paint job was applied initially. It is located on the hood right at the edge where you reach to unfasten and open the ... read more »
- 2011 Buick Enclave: intermittent fuel gauge (1 complaints) Just recently, the fuel gauge has become intermittent. When the fuel reaches about half a tank, the gauge will go all the way to empty the next time I start the car. After a few more gallons are burned off, the gauge will slowly return to the half a tank mark. This is very annoying and I don't know if it's worth taking to the dealership for repair or replacement without being shocked with an outrageous cost. Anyone else experience this problem and what the best solution would be? Thank ... read more »

- 2009 Ford Flex: sunroof leak (3 complaints) The weather stripping goes bad. It then leaks like a waterfall destroying the headliner, carpet and all the underlying metals. They want to charge $400 to replace (cheap) weather stripping. The real problem is that the drain channels under the weather stripping are made too shallow to handle the leaks. ( these things are always going to leak) I had to remove the headliner. take some body caulk strips and build up the ends of the channels so that the water would not overflow into the headliner. It has worked fine ... read more »

- 2015 Kia Sorento: died while driving (14 complaints) My wife and I were traveling from Oklahoma to Kentucky for her father's funeral. The car died while we were driving. There were no warning lights, nothing. We paid $425 to have it towed 65 miles to Kingdom Kia in Rollo, MO. They said we need a new engine. Their price to do that was a little over $11,000. We can't do this. If anyone had told us that Kia's have this engine problem we would not have spent over $46,000 on the car. Now they want another $11,000 and who's to say that is the only problem. Basically, we ... read more »

- 2015 Chevrolet Corvette: fail to retain, fail to deploy (1 complaints) I was T-boned by a truck sitting at a light and totaled my vette. None of the airbags went off and seatbelt failed to deploy. Causing serious injuries and TBI. Looking for class action lawsuits related to this. GM notified me for the first time in 2019 telling me that my VIN was confirmed to have been left in test mode and should not be driven. They were apparently unaware that it was deemed a total loss and I had already checked to see if there was a recall since nothing helped to prevent injury and keep me safe. ... read more »
