- 2019 Honda Accord: outer tie-rods loose (1 complaints) Both tie-rods need to be changed within the next two months as they are slightly loose and this is a critical part of the steering. this must not be neglected as a repair. I'm getting a second opinion from my personal mechanic after receiving the diagnosis from the Honda dealer. It is expensive. in Canada, the repair is $780+tx for the two new tie-rods plus an alignment at $129+tx. My mileage is not high but road conditions in Quebec are bad which may be a factor. However, there are reported issues with this ... read more »
- 2024 Honda CR-V: lane change alert (1 complaints) When turning left and in the right turning lane with my directional on the lane change warning goes off in the middle of the turn if another car is in the left turn lane. - 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe: entire rear brake system - broken (1 complaints) 1/2/26 Went to park my car in my driveway and almost drove through my garage door. 1/3/26 My husband got home in the morning from working nights, went to move my car to snow blow and found calipers, brake pads and clips in the snow (found a second caliper WITH the snowblower). 1/4/26 Had my 4xe towed to a local dealership because I left 2 messages with the closest JEEP DEALERSHIP and they wouldn't return my phone call. I called a 3rd time and the service tech hung up on me. 1/5/26-1/14/26 Went back and forth ... read more »
- 2024 Mazda MAZDA3: easily scratches (1 complaints) The paint layer is incredibly thin, and it scratches horribly! Even cleaning a little sparrow-birdie poop with a dry Kleenex super-soft tissue scratched the paint!! What the heck is going on? I also have a 2013 Mazda CX-9 and a 2006 Mazda6, and both have fantastic, scratch-resistant paint jobs. Does anyone else have this ... read more »
- 2020 Lincoln Navigator: transmission failure (1 complaints) LINCOLN NAVIGATORS HAVE TRANSMISSION ISSUES Hey y'all, I have a 2020 Lincoln Navigator XL. I purchased the car on Dec 31, 2019 for $108K. I love the look, comfort, and size of this vehicle. However, the transmission just failed. On Dec 22, 2025, my wife was driving out of our driveway up a gentle hill and the clutch disengaged from Drive and she couldn't move the vehicle. I took the driver's seat, let the car roll back down, turned it off, and restarted the engine. It then worked but I knew we would likely have ... read more »
- 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe: parking brake light stays illuminated (1 complaints) Picked my 24 Grand Cherokee 4xe up from the shop on 1/15/26 after having to essentially rebuild my entire rear brake system (see other complaint). After picking my son up from school we went to the car wash, we live in Upstate NY and the ice packs onto the car and makes sensors not work properly so I was hoping a wash would help. I was a bit too far away from the machine when trying to pay so I opened my door (foot on brake pedal but still in Drive) and my parking brake engaged. I had to go through the steps of ... read more »

- 2014 Lexus LS 460: excessive oil consumption (1 complaints) This beast consumes oil at the rate of 6 quarts per oil change interval. (The Lexus recommended 10,000 miles or 12 months). This is acceptable to Lexus but just be warned that you have to stay on top of the oil level on this jewel or else it will seize the engine. So this will always be on your mind while driving this car... Thanks Lexus. Just something to think about when purchasing your next ... read more »
- 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500: complete transmission failure (8 complaints) On a road trip coming back to Florida from Ohio in the mountains of West Virginia, our transmission began to slip. We stopped at a dealership in Parkersburg and they wanted $7,000 to replace the transmission. They said they could not just give us a transmission fluid change as the vehicle may not start. Are other option was to try to make it back to Florida which we did and made it as far as South Carolina before we ended up on the side of the road with complete transmission failure and finally a check engine ... read more »
- 2015 Audi A5: window opening by itself (1 complaints) When I park my car, turn off the engine, exit the vehicle and walk to the passenger side door to retrieve something, the passenger window opens half way down. The car is off. I then have to go back in my car, turn on the accessory power and roll the window back up. It can also happen if I approach the door before starting the car. It happens sporadically, and, of course, cannot be duplicated when I bring it in for service which I have done twice now. Last year I paid to have the window recalibrated, but that did ... read more »

- 2006 Acura MDX: parasitic battery draw (2 complaints) I have a 2006 MDX that I have replaced the battery now twice and it still is drained within 2 days enough to not start. So if I dont continuoisly start it every 2 days I have to jump it. Its become RIDICULOUS! I see that there are very many people with the same problem with 2007s and many have spent 100s of dollars trying to figure out what is draining the battery when the car isnt on. I do not have the money to pay a mechanic to endlessly search thru my electrical system to find the culprit. I love the car but I ... read more »
- 2011 Toyota Tundra: air pump and valve assembly failure (1 complaints) Check engine and 4wd low lights flashing and sudden loss of power. Took my 2011 4.6 v8 Tundra in to mechanic shop and was told I had 2 air pump and valve assembly's failed. Had to remove and replace both of them at the cost of $2700. Since then I have noticed several exact same complaints online and realized that there was a recall for this exact problem, but only for the 2007-2010 models. Considering the premium price we have all paid for these Tundras I would expect TOYOTA to include the 2011 models since they ... read more »
- 2023 Honda Ridgeline: warped windshield allows leaks and noise (1 complaints) The 2023 Certified Ridgeline RTL began to leak rainwater into the cabin at the sunglass storage area whenever it rained for at least an hour or so. There are electronics near that area so it could have caused bigger issues. The dealership checked the vehicle and determined the leak was due to an unsealed windshield that was also warped. Honda told them to seal it and return it instead of replacing the windshield. It's no longer leaking, but does allow wind noise to enter the cabin whenever doing over 40mph, and ... read more »

- 2019 Honda Accord: blown head gasket (5 complaints) At 74k miles, my 2019 Honda Accord 1.5 Turbo has suffered a blown head gasket between cylinder 2 and 3. I bought it new and it has been well maintained, oil changed regularly so obviously Honda really has issues with 1.5 turbo engine. Dealer quoted $5541 for head gasket replacement. With Honda Good Will Assisstance, out of my pocket was $2500. Honda's quality has gone down so BECAREFUL and STAY AWAY from Honda 1.5 turbo ... read more »
