- 2024 Ram 1500: electrical failures due to parasitic drain kills battery (1 complaints) The vehicle suffers repeated electrical failures leading to dead batteries and parasitic drain. Despite multiple battery replacements and dealer diagnostics showing numerous electrical codes, Chrysler refuses to authorize repairs. Details: Purchased July 2025 with 33k miles. Within two months, battery failed completely; replaced by AAA. Battery died again within weeks, requiring repeated jump?starts. On multiple trips (vacation and cross?country), battery failed several times, leaving driver ... read more »
- 2024 Toyota RAV4: pcs failed to brake; red brake warning + beep (1 complaints) In July 2024, I decided it was time to retire my old car, which had quite a few problems, and buy a new one. After carefully comparing the information from different brands, I chose the 2024 Toyota RAV4, LE trim. One major reason was Toyota’s prominent introduction of its Pre-Collision System (PCS) on its official website. Through videos, pictures, and written descriptions, the website clearly explained that when there is a stationary vehicle waiting at a red light, or a pedestrian crossing the street ... read more »
- 2025 Toyota Tacoma: infotainment - xm radio drops signal often (1 complaints) XM radio will disconnect when under mild tree cover. This is unacceptable because XM in my area uses a ground based transmitter as well as satellite transmission. On a 2024 Canyon, 2025 Acadia, 2023 Audi Q8, and a 2025 Canyon, never had this issue. On my 2020 RAV4, no problem. It's something with the 2025 Tacoma (maybe others too), the XM radio appears not to be able to receive the ground based transmitters for XM. That is the only reasonable explanation. But what is weird, my 2020 RAV4 which I currently own, does ... read more »
- 2011 Hyundai Elantra: seat belt tearing (1 complaints) I have a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Limited and I have never used the back seat of the car for passengers. All of the rear seatbelts are torn from where they enter the seatbelt return. And would fail inspection. Each belt it torn in the same place on the same side of the belt. They look to be cut from the seatbelt return it's self or where it hits the trim entering the return. Again I have never had passengers in the backseat of my vehicle nor have I used the seatbelts for other purposes like holding something in place. ... read more »
- 2025 Toyota Tacoma: infotainment keeps disconnecting wireless carplay (1 complaints) When starting the vehicle, after the iPhone has been established to use wireless CarPlay, it will just disconnect from CarPlay with no rhyme or reason why. It seems to have something to do with Toyota's services trying to take over, and it does. It will disconnect the phone, and allow online services to take over. You have to manually go in and pick your phone, which is in the list, and then select CarPlay. Then, it reconnects as CarPlay. It usually connects to CarPlay after starting, and then driving a short ... read more »
- 2022 Toyota Tundra Hybrid: auto start/stop (1 complaints) For the Capstone trim of the Toyota Tundra, Toyota did not provide owners the option to turn off the Auto Start/Stop. It is awful. I love my truck and it have a lot of potential. Great daily driver, and very fun to drive with the power and torque it has. However, it does not make sense for the computer to turn off the engine whenever it wants. It is understandable why Toyota designed it like that, but that feature makes no sense when the vehicle is being driven in any other mode besides "ECO" mode. Or "self ... read more »
- 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500: poor paint job (7 complaints) In April 2025 the transmission went bad of course out of warranty which GM would not cover although it has been a problem with many Silverado's. It cost me $8000.00 for a new one at a gm dealership Now I have paint flaking off the vehicle in 2 areas plus blistering paint on the hood which I now found out it is a problem with the iridescent pearl paint Guaranteed the last GM product I will ever get since the refuse to stand behind anything the build or ... read more »
- 2017 Chevrolet Equinox: blown rear main seal (23 complaints) The pcv plugged up, pushed oil out of the rear seal. The motor got hot from loss of oil, turned the rod bearing on number 1 piston. The engine jumped time ,but timing chain was in remarkable shape. Nothing in the timing broke. I guess probably because I always keep my oil changed and checked. But, I feel the chevy dealer where I bought the SUV SHOULD have warned me of the pcv issue. They took a otherwise Great vehicle, and put a piece of shit Ecotec engine in ... read more »
- 2003 Toyota Tacoma: rusted frame (1 complaints) I took my Tacoma in to get the frame replaced. Unknown to me, they never replaced the frame, but replaced the spare tire rack assembly. I never looked at the receipt. They had my truck for two weeks. Now the frame is so badly rusted it will not pass inspection. I want Toyota to take accountability for this and replace the frame. I get it, the warranty runs out, but I brought in when I was supposed to, and trusted the dealer to do what he was supposed to. The dealer was shady and did the least he had to. I’m ... read more »

- 2021 Ram 1500: back window leaking (3 complaints) Manufacturing issue regarding rear window leaking causing damage to RF sensor behind the seat causing alarms to go off and none of the key fobs will work. They have extended the warranty on some of the trucks the same year as ours but not all of them They know it is an ongoing issue and should take care of all customers with this issue. As a customer the leak was not obvious for us to see it. Everyone that has a Ram truck should check for water marks on rear window. Hopefully it's found before the manufacture ... read more »

- 2013 Nissan NV3500: catalytic converter melted (1 complaints) We were on vacation on our way to Anaheim California. Our whole family is in the 2013 NV 3500 driving in very busy Los Angeles traffic. My van never overheated but the average speed the lanes to the left were in excess of 110 miles an hour. So I think that contributed to my exhaust manifold melting the palladium honeycomb inside the exhaust manifold. FYI Nissan put 3 catalytic converters on their 5.6 liter V8 engines to meet EPA standards for all 50 states. So the smaller cats get more heat than the main cat ... read more »
