Recurring Mazda Connect Infotainment and Apple CarPlay Malfunctions
My 2020 Mazda CX-5 Touring has experienced recurring problems with its Mazda Connect infotainment system.
Apple CarPlay and Google Maps frequently fail to connect or disconnect unexpectedly, sometimes requiring several attempts even when using an appropriate USB data cable.
The system has also occasionally activated phone or voice commands without any input from me. Additionally, saved radio stations sometimes change or appear to be deleted without my intervention.
These recurring electronic malfunctions are frustrating and distracting while driving. I am concerned that they may be related to the touchscreen malfunction described in Mazda Technical Service Bulletin 09-003/22, although the cause has not been professionally diagnosed.
The problems remain unresolved.
