I bought this car new. Use premium gas and have oil changes done regularly. Diligent with maintenance. I did not expect to have a major issue like this with a new car that is so well taken care of. Engine light was coming on and would then go off for several weeks.

I took it in to the dealer and they said I needed a new turbo charger. I asked them what was wrong with the turbo charger and they said they didn't know. They would just have to replace it. Why can't it just be fixed? I did a little research and found out that 2017 Cruze autos have a defective turbo charger - this is a common issue in the Cruze. Why hasn't this vehicle been recalled to replace the defective turbo charger? Why do I have to pay for the car and then pay for a defective part to be replaced? Come on GM. Do the right thing! Fix the problem.
