3 months after purchasing the car, the driver's side window gasket dropped down and fluttered in the wind when the window was wide open. Brought it to the dealership and they simply popped it back into place and said "fixed". Umm - don't you think I tried that?? I told them it just pops out again. They asked if I was pulling on it to make it fall off. Sure - I just love spending time in car garages over bogus problems!

As predicted, the gasket flopped down again and they decided to replace it. But they ordered the bottom gasket by mistake, so I had to come in yet a third time to finally get the correct replacement.

Update from Jul 27, 2018: Here we go again - a year later. The driver's side window gasket again popped loose and is flapping in the breeze. I am tired of this happening every time the window is rolled all the way down. And it is becoming a trend to happen every single summer! Replacing the gasket is not going to solve the issue. There must be something wrong with the door frame itself that the gasket attaches to. Doubt they will replace my door!! Anyone know of a good adhesive I can use to glue the damn thing on so it won't continue to flop down?

We are disgusted, brand new car with the window gaskets flapping in the wind. The service dept said after the third replacement that the sun would cure the gasket to the door frame...can't imagine what lawyer would tell him to say such stupidity.

Less than 5000 miles already it's a junk, an embarrassment......has anyone ever seen window gasket hanging out of any car in their life.
