CarComplaints.com Notes: The QX60 is the only Infiniti in North America that uses Nissan's Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). This isn't necessarily a good thing.

Okay so just this POS in August. 3 weeks after I got it the alternator goes out. That was a $1000 fix then a month later I take it in for an oil change and tire rotation because the screen won't shut up telling me it is due and the shop breaks off the studs on the driver side wheel and the freaking wheel falls off while doing 50 miles an hour and screws up the fender. The shop fixes it and replaces all of the wheel studs because they are aluminum supposedly. I start to get a pull to the right as I get to 45 to 50 mph then it shifts to the left. I research this and it looks like the control arm is damaged also but before I can take it in the tranny starts acting up. The almost didn't make it home from church as it wouldn't go anywhere when she shifted it to drive. I told her to turn it off and turn it on again and it worked but ran like crap on the way home.

So I finally get it to the shop and I tell them the extra crap and they say it sounds like the transmission and they don't do transmission work.

Now I am freaking stuck with what to do. I don't see a recall on this POS and I have to call the transmission repair shop in the morning. AAAARRRRGGGHHHH
