The contact owns a 2014 Land Rover LR2. While driving 40 mph, the brake and accelerator pedals became difficult to depress. The contact pulled the vehicle over to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and it was diagnosed that the vacuum pump malfunctioned and needed replacement. The dealer (Land Rover southwest houston, 10150 southwest fwy, houston, tx 77074, (844) 894-5469) was contacted. The contact planned on towing the vehicle to the dealer for diagnostic testing and repairs. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 51,000.
