Fuel has been leaking from top of fuel tank since mid August. After further inspection the fuel flange filter assembly is cracked. This crack allows fuel to escape the closed system. Problem has been reported to local Land Rover dealer and will be verified by them. No warning lamps, messages or symptoms prior. Smell of gas and puddles of fuel while in operation. While parked the puddle and smell are ever more present long after engine is in standby. Millage of vehicle approx. 110,000. No fires or fatal injuries as of yet. Models LR4 & range rover sport (2010-2016) have been issued a recall for problem described within.
