While driving down the road I started smelling something burning. I opened the windows and then saw smoke coming from the steering column. I pulled off the road, stopped the car and it continued to smoke. I realized that the lights were still on even though I tried to turn everything off. I have to unhook the battery cables in order to get the lights to go off. I need to know how many other people have this problem.
