I was a passenger in the back seat of my '05 Scion when we were rear ended at low impact approx 15 mpr. I immediately felt intense pain between my shoulder blades from the impact of the frame around backseat and headrest area. I have been receiving treatment for my injury ever since. Had it not been for the metal frame within the back of the backseat, I would not have any injury. The manufacturer needs to know that if an adult sits in the backseat, they are in danger of possible injury if rearended. And the injury is from their seat construction, not whiplash.
