My wife was traveling from home when her 2005 Suzuki Verona just started stalling and it cut off. It cut off without notice or warning. She attempted to restart car and when doing so the car did not start. Then she tried again it started and drove it back home with the airbag light on and service engine light illuminated. I then had the spark plugs replaced and fixed the corroded battery terminal. I drove the car on 10/29/2014 at 2:00am in the morning headed to work and it was just hard to accelerate then it would surge, the rpms would get really high and the car would act as though it wants to cut off! there is a recall on the lights of these vehicles but they haven't had them sent or requested to be fixed. I have read where there is no fixing to these cars and that us owners of these cars are all having the same issue and some have had fatalities. To GM and other manufacturers of these cars, you know these cars need to be recalled and given the full value of the car when purchased or half of it and as the family of fatalities, there needs to be the full value of purchase and funeral burial expenses. My heart goes out to those families who lost love ones and to those who are scared to drive this car and can't really afford another, I would advise against driving it if you can if you must be careful because it can cutoff without warning or notice and cause injury. I don't let my wife drive it anymore because if it had been her injured I would be seeking a lawsuit against Suzuki, GM, or whom responsible.

My mother was going out to pay a bill, even that she was 80 with should not have happen. She was traveling down the road at 45 miles she ran off the side of the road and her car flip and ran in a tree the air bag never came out, we fill like if the air bag had of came out she would still be with us today. The loss is very upsetting. I would like someone to check on a recall for the airbag recall

Air bag light is on. Per an independent auto repair shop, they've found the following recall: Tsb # 36690-86210. My local Suzuki dealer denies there's a recall. I need to get clarification in order to get the air bag repaired.

Problem with the anti-lock brakes. Brakes would shudder, make a loud noise and vibrated. Had to pump them to come to a complete stop. Coleman dealership (lawrenceville, NJ 08648) claimed it was due to warped rotors. Replaced rotors brake pads and flushed brake system. Problem recurred immediately after leaving the dealership. Returned car to dealership on 6/08/2010. Dealership stated the problem was due to a broken sensor. Dealership replaced sensor under warranty, but problem with sensor recurred after 10 months and the anti-lock brakes do not work. Was told the brake failure was due to a broken sensor again. Car is unsafe to drive. Also, air bag light stays on continuously (told this would not affect air bag performance) but that it is an electrical problem.

I have a 2005 Suzuki Verona and I had problems with the air bag one year after I got the car I had to have the air bag replace and as well as the gas cap replace several times to were it would make the engine light come on I took my car to have them check my air bag light and they said since it wasn;T under warranty I have to pay to have the air bag replace again. And I didn't feel that was right because it was an issue that they had already fixed.

2005 Suzuki Verona driver and passenger side airbag warning light illuminated continuously. Mechanic was never able to repair problem. Vehicle made noise while applying brakes, and cruise control did not work. The air bag malfunction was due to a loose connection, and the cruise control malfunction was due to a problem with the brake light switch. The problem with the air bag light resurfaced again, and the dealer stated the problem was the front seat harness. The third time the air bag light illuminated, the consumer was told it was the air bag assembly. The brake noise was due to warped rotors.

: the contact stated the airbag light illuminated without warning. The dealership determined the airbag connector needed to be cleaned due to corrosion. After the vehicle was returned from the dealer, the light illuminated again. The dealership concluded that the airbag sensor was faulty.
